The commemorative stamp set comprises two postage stamps, a card, and an envelope, featuring exclusive portraits of Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa. The card captures a momentous image of the couple exiting Zahran Palace, framed by the royal guards. In contrast, the postage stamps present a scenic panorama, showcasing the verdant surroundings of the palace.
While the couple has become familiar through numerous public appearances and royal engagements, these stamps serve as a poignant reminder of the start of a new royal era for the Kingdom. The bride, formerly known as Rajwa Al-Saif, wore a timeless white gown designed by the renowned Lebanese couturier Elie Saab for the wedding and subsequent public reception. Princess Rajwa was born on April 28, 1994. She is the daughter of Saudi businessman Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saif and his spouse, Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Sudairi.
