This week, German fashion influencer Leonie Hanne made a striking fashion statement by showcasing multiple outfits from Arab designers George Hobeika and Amina Muaddi in London.
She looked stunning in her first outfit, a pink and orange dress from Lebanese designer Hobeika's Spring/Summer 2023 collection embellished with beautiful feathers and shimmering crystal strands. Complementing this eye-catching gown, she elegantly sported Jordanian-Romanian designer Muaddi's crystal-embellished Gilda sandals. Adding a touch of glam, she accessorized with sparkling silver clip-on earrings by Magda Butrym and carried a mauve Hermes Kelly 20 mini purse. This chic look was for an event hosted by the British haircare brand GHD.
The fashion blogger chose a pink dress by the women's fashion line Taller Marmo, which was established in 2013 by designers Yago Goicoechea and Riccardo Audisio in Dubai, for her second outfit. She chose the Gina Spirito feather-trimmed silk mini dress for this occasion. Hanne continued to wear Muaddi's heels and Butrym's earrings but switched her purse to a Chanel metallic mesh mini-flag bag.
Hobeika had unveiled his Spring/Summer 2023 collection in January during Paris Haute Couture Week, and Hanne had previously walked the runway in his show, wearing a stunning green feathered gown. The dress she wore this week was presented by Saudi model Amira Al-Zuhair.
Leonie Hanne has shown a strong affinity for Hobeika's designs in the past. She attended the 76th Cannes Film Festival in May, wearing a form-fitting, embroidered blue gown with a billowing cape that was custom-made for her. She also had a memorable appearance in 2022 at the Emi Gala in Dubai wearing a feathery piece from Hobeika's ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2022 collection, and she looked stunning in a vibrant mini dress at a dinner in Berlin.
Furthermore, at the 74th Cannes Film Festival, Hanne wore a dazzling gold sequined tulle plissé gown from Hobeika's Spring/Summer 2021 couture collection. In that same year, she exuded elegance in a beaded creation from the "Ritual of the Spring Moon" Spring/Summer 2021 couture collection during Paris Fashion Week.
It's worth noting that Hanne's admiration for Arab designers extends beyond George Hobeika, as she has also showcased gowns by Tony Ward, Rami Kadi, and others at various film festivals and fashion weeks.
